Public Works Maintenance Worker – PT 

The City of Lewiston seeks applicants for a part-time public works maintenance worker vacancy. This position will work up to 32 hours per week at a pay rate of $16 per hour. This position performs a variety of duties involved with maintenance and repair of city streets, parks, water and sewer utilities in all types of weather conditions.

If you are over 60 and in need of a meal because of the covid-19 virus, Meals on Wheels can provide one hot meal per day to your home, up to 7 per week. Each meal contains 1/3 of the Recommended Daily Allowances.

Attention:  Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting

This required meeting was scheduled for Thursday, April 9th at 7pm here at City Hall. It is now cancelled due to COVID-19.

It will be held in an “open book” meeting style. This means that if any taxpayers have concerns about their property valuation, they will need to contact John Conway (507-457-6300) of the Winona County Assessor’s Office to meet with him one-on-one and discuss their concerns. They will contact Mr. Conway instead of meeting with the City Council.
