Lewiston Police Department

The Lewiston Police Department is located in the City Hall building at 75 Rice Street, Lewiston, MN 55952.

The department currently employees one full-time officer and several part-time officers. The Lewiston Police Department was staffed with two full-time officers and part-time officers, for the first time in 1977. Prior to 1977 the Chief of Police was the only full-time officer and he had to rely on the assistance of part-time officers.

The Lewisotn Police Department is a community oriented department. The department staff has been invovled in various community outreach programs such as Youth Amateur Boxing, Youth Self Defense Courses, Safe and Drug Free School Initiatives, and Safety Net.
