January 13, 2012 - The Lewiston City Council is looking for volunteers to serve on various boards and committees. Currently, vacancies exist on the Economic Development Authority Board, the Planning & Zoning Commission, the Cable Commission, and the Parks and Recreation Committee.

Applicants must be a resident of Lewiston and have a desire to serve their community in a volunteer capacity and be willing to contribute the number of hours necessary, for the particular group to which they are applying.  The Mayor appoints members subject to City Council confirmation.
